Endeavor Charter School is seeking a full time Director of Student Support Services. Program Development:Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to integrate support services and resources into the overall educational framework, school day schedule, and budgetDesign, implement, and evaluate programs that address the diverse needs of students, including academic support through Special Education, MTSS, and 504 Plans; social-emotional support through counseling and behavior intervention; extracurricular activities and athletics both within and outside the school day.Leadership:Provide oversight and support to two direct reports (EC/MTSS Coordinator and Athletic Director) as they design, implement, and evaluate their programs and staff504 Plans:Oversee the provision of services to qualifying students through the creation and implementation of 504 plans.Behavioral Intervention:Develop and implement strategies for positive behavior intervention and support across the school.Address unique behavioral issues, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavioral Intervention Plans for qualifying students, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and external resources as needed.Collaboration with Outside Agencies:Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to provide additional resources and support for students and families and ensure regulatory compliance., and establish partnerships to enhance the overall well-being of students.Qualifications:The ideal candidate has leadership experience in NC Special Education, experience in behavioral support, and can outline a vision of Special Education, MTSS, counseling, and health experts working collaboratively.Interested candidates should send a letter of introduction, resume, and teaching license to Christi Whiteside at cwhiteside@endeavorcharter.com.
